First day of lwp

What I take away from this first day of Lehua is that writing is a process that can be greatly enhanced through positive feedback. Students can quickly and easily learn how to provide positive feedback, and student writers can use that feedback to enhance their writing and be more productive.

It was surprising how much emotion surfaced when writing about memories.  I think it would warrants discussing with students how intimate memories are, and how respectful we need to be of each others experiences.  This would integrate well with culture based education – incorporating the culture of Hawaii’s oral histories and personal kuleana.

I agree with you that writing surfaces emotions! I am enjoying learning about your journey as you write about the student who heard your whisper. Can't wait to hear the finished product!
